    I am a handicapped person and have trouble with a lot of things, but not this. The day I received this stand I put it together myself within 5 min. I can vouch that it can handle having almost a 1000lbs on it and it doesn’t affect it at all. We have had to move the TV that is on top a few times and the surface is very resilient there have been NO scratches. The design is excellent for threading cords of component electrical pieces. It also has a great amount of functional storage space. The color is beautiful and I love the fact that it is made in a sustainable way out of bamboo. I am so happy with this purchase that when I can afford it I intend to buy the modular computer desks made by this company to replace the one I have.

    I just received this, literally 10 minutes ago and it’s already put together! and I am a normal sized woman who did it alone! It’s beautiful and solid! I have no doubt it will hold our big screen TV. I love that it’s environmentally friendly and won’t off gas awful chemicals like most particle board TV stands! This is a must have if you are looking for a TV stand!
